Footage of Jude Bellingham telling Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr where they went wrong against Mallorca has been shared online following Real Madrid’s disappointing 1-1 draw on Sunday.

Rodrygo, who joined Madrid’s star trio for the post-match talk, initially put Real ahead in the 13th minute before Mallorca equalised through Vedat Muriqi shortly after half-time.

Despite pressing for victory, Los Blancos struggled to break down the hosts and were reduced to ten men in added time after Ferland Mendy was ordered off.

A major question raised by Mbappe’s summer signing for Real Madrid was how he would fit in alongside Carlo Ancelotti’s superstar trio of Bellingham, Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, especially given the French icon had previously fallen foul of Paris Saint-Germain coaches after being forced to play through the middle.

Bellingham, who excelled in the No. 10 role during his debut season at the Bernabeu last campaign, could be forced to play a deeper role this season to accommodate the attacking firepower ahead of him.

Speaking to his teammates after the game, Bellingham told the trio that they must “finish the offense” by shooting on the spot rather than losing possession, otherwise he is forced to run back in transition to help the defense.

In the post-match conversation captured by MovistarThe England international said: ‘You three, we have to finish the attack, because the corridor… is fucking tough.’

Mbappé agreed with his new teammate, adding: “That’s what I say. We have to finish something.”

Bellingham added: “Yeah, even… creating a yard and (shooting).”

Mallorca’s goal came after the home side capitalised on a loss of possession by Madrid, advancing up the pitch to win a corner which eventually resulted in Muriqi heading past Thibaut Courtois.

Regarding the team’s balance after the match, Ancelotti said: “Balance is found when the players think the same when they have to recover the ball. We have to go all together.”

“Everyone may think that it is a problem for the forwards, but it could also be a problem for the defenders or the midfielders. They have not understood that this is a very important aspect. Mallorca played a great game and were better than us.”

The shock draw leaves Real Madrid 12th in LaLiga after the opening weekend, with arch-rivals Barcelona kicking off the campaign with a 2-1 win over Valencia.

Robert Lewandowski scored twice to turn the tide after Valencia had taken the lead through Hugo Duro in the 44th minute.

Questions will be asked about how Carlo Ancelotti gets the best out of star trio Bellingham (left), Vinicius Jr (right) and Mbappe (centre) following the latter's move to the Bernabeu.
