Sonia Kruger was hiding a million-dollar secret when she hit the carpet at the 64th Television Week Logie Awards on Sunday afternoon.
The 58-year-old TV personality looked ethereal in long tulle sleeves that fell to the floor with her long train.
And while all eyes were focused on the spectacular dress, many overlooked the sparkling custom-made jewels valued at an exorbitant $997,000 that adorned her body.
Sonia dazzled wearing accessories from Australian fine jewelry company Jan Logan, with designs made especially for the occasion.
The most expensive piece was a 6.09-carat diamond ring with a double-stone design valued at $230,000, while the cheapest was a 3.16-carat diamond earring valued at $9,500.
Other high-end accessories included a round and emerald-cut diamond bracelet ($145,000) and a 13-carat diamond bracelet ($110,000).
The designs were made for Sonia at Jan Logan’s workshop in Double Bay by a local team of craftspeople.
Angus Logan, managing director of Jan Logan, spoke to FEMAIL about how the pieces were made and chosen.
Leading the way for this year’s ‘best dressed’ is Sonia Kruger, who was the epitome of perfection in a striking floor-length gold gown.
And while all eyes were on the extraordinary dress, many would have missed the sparkling custom-made jewels that were worth an outrageous $997,000.
“She was stunned. They are such divine diamonds and truly brilliant. If we had to choose, I would say these multi-stone pieces are her favourite,” Natalia told FEMAIL.
“We worked closely with Sonia Kruger and stylist Natalia De Martin on her overall vision for her final Logies look, and each piece was custom created for Sonia in our Double Bay workshop by our team of local artisans,” she said.
‘The aim was to create striking, eye-catching pieces and diamonds ‘en masse’, stacking pieces and mixing a range of unique diamond cuts, including emerald, pear, princess, marquise, round and cushion.’
Sonia paired the look with a nude lip, soft waves and maroon nails.
When asked what her favorite piece was, stylist Natalia De Martin said Sonia adored the entire collection.
“She was stunned. They are such divine diamonds and truly brilliant. If we had to choose, I would say these multi-stone pieces are her favourite,” Natalia told FEMAIL.

SONIA’S MORNING AND NIGHT BEAUTY ROUTINE
Tomorrow
Sonia keeps a simple routine: she washes her face with warm water before applying a moisturizer with SPF and a touch of Revitaleyes, which she says “eliminates the puffiness left after sleeping.”
Follow with a probiotic-infused BB Blur Skin Tint and Three Warriors Aqua Tan Face Tan Spray ($32.95) for an extra sunless glow.
“I don’t wear a lot of makeup when I’m not working, so BB Blur is a beautiful skin tint with probiotics that gives me a hint of color and I always use a lip balm or a tinted lipstick from Mecca to keep me hydrated,” she told FEMAIL.
‘For TV, we tend to use a lot of base products like MAC Studio Fix ($64) or Prep and Prime ($50) to control shine, followed by a full coverage foundation. Cream blush is beautiful because it gives a brightening effect and one of my favorites is Blush Please ($55).
‘It’s important for your makeup to stay put, so products like Stila’s Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner ($24) and pencils are a must.’
Evening
At night, especially after a long day on set, she thoroughly cleanses her face with an oil-based pre-cleanser followed by Bioderma Micellar Water ($29.99), a gentle final cleanse with warm water, overnight facial solutions and a touch of lip balm.
Sonia says hair masks are just as important as skin masks, so she tries to use Aveda Intensive Strengthening Mask ($91) at least once a week to give her hair some love.
“A leave-in conditioner like Unite 75 Seconds Detangler ($34) is also great for hair that’s been tortured by summer baths and sun,” Sonia said.
