Hugh Sheridan has revealed his connection to missing Sydney man Luke Davies and publicly appealed for help to find him.
Qantas flight attendant Luke and her boyfriend, former Channel 10 presenter Jesse Baird, have been missing since Monday and were last seen in the Sydney suburb of Paddington.
Celebrity blogger-turned-officer Beau Lamarre-Condon, 29, was wanted for questioning by police after his ex-boyfriend Mr Baird, 26, and his new partner Luke Davies, 29, disappeared. He turned himself in to detectives Friday morning.
Amid the major investigation, Australian actor Hugh, 38, took to his Instagram Stories to share an impassioned plea to the public for help in finding the couple.
The Packed to the Rafters star revealed he is friends with Mr Davies when he shared a selfie of them together along with an emotional message in a series of posts.

He first re-shared a social media post from NSW Police asking for help finding Mr Davies, adding the caption: “Please help me find my friend, I’m very worried.”
He added in a second heartwarming post: ‘Beautiful Luke. We are all thinking of you, your family and your angels.
‘I pray that wherever you are now you will not be afraid. It would be very difficult to find a heart sweeter than yours.
Davies, 29, and Baird, 26, have been missing since Monday, and chilling CCTV footage, taken the night they disappeared, shows them entering the back terrace of the A$3 million townhouse ( £1.56 million) from Baird. Police believe this is the last time they were seen.
Police are seriously concerned for the couple’s safety after a significant amount of blood was discovered at Mr Baird’s Paddington home. His belongings were found dumped in a bin in Cronulla shortly after 11am on Wednesday.
Constable Lamarre-Condon, who was wanted by police for questioning, disappeared after the two men disappeared after telling his bosses he was on sick leave and turning off his phone.

On Friday morning, Daily Mail Australia revealed that Lamarre-Condon’s phone had shown signs of life after being switched off for hours.
Police later revealed that the officer had reported to police at Bondi police station shortly after 10.30am on Friday.
A spokesman added: “The man will be taken to Waverley Police Station where inquiries will continue.”
NSW Police had launched a city-wide search for a white van believed to be driven by the celebrity hunter.
Police raided a house in Balmain linked to Lamarre-Condon’s family on Thursday night.
After previously rubbing shoulders with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus on the Golden Globes red carpet, Constable Lamarre joined the New South Wales police force in 2019.
“Detectives are exploring a line of inquiry so that a third person may be able to assist in the investigation,” police said in a statement Wednesday.

Baird and Davies disappeared from the TV producer’s $3 million rental home in Paddington on Monday.
Davies, 29, was with Baird, 26, but the pair disappeared and Davies’ family were unable to contact him.
CCTV footage of the couple’s last known whereabouts shows them entering Mr Baird’s home on Monday night.
The men were captured wandering outside before heading towards the back of the terrace. Then a white van is seen driving nearby.
Neither have been seen since, however Baird’s phone appeared to have last been active on WhatsApp on Tuesday night.
A manhunt was launched after a pile of the couple’s bloody clothes was found in a large bin in the center of Cronulla, in Sydney’s south, about 11am on Wednesday.

Police seized CCTV of the couple’s last known movements outside Mr Baird’s Paddington terrace on Monday night.
Baird worked with Studio 10 for three years, but left his producer/host position on the show in January when the network fired him late last year.
He had previously worked as a producer/presenter with Ten’s Totally Wild! program for four years, as well as a seven-month period introducing Gamify! for the network in 2019.
Police previously issued a statement asking anyone with information to come forward.
“The belongings of Luke Davies, 29, and another man were found shortly after 11am on Wednesday in a wheelie bin on Wilbar Avenue, Cronulla,” police said.
‘Following investigations, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended a house in Brown Street, Paddington, at around 1pm on Wednesday.
‘After entering the property, officers immediately established the crime scene.
“Police then attended Luke’s home in Waterloo, but he has not been located and his disappearance is being treated as suspicious.”
Baird (pictured) was last seen on Monday night, while Davies was reported missing by his family on Tuesday.
The statement added: “Investigators are now trying to determine the location of a 26-year-old man, who they believe may be able to assist with investigations.”
‘Information indicates that Luke was in Paddington on Monday. He has not been seen since, his family has not been able to contact him and he has not been at work.
‘Luke is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm to 175cm tall, medium build, brown hair and brown eyes. It is not known what he was wearing at the time.
“Police are asking anyone with information regarding Luke’s whereabouts, or who may have information relevant to the investigation, to contact Waverley Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
