Former Augustana forward Brian Silver has returned to Miami, Ohio, the team announced last week.

Silver, a product of Lake Bluff, Illinois, spent three seasons with the RedHawks before heading to Augustana.

With the Vikings last season, Silver did not score a point in 16 regular season games. Over the course of 53 career NCAA games, Silver scored two goals and added an assist to go along with three points.

Prior to jumping to the NCAA, Silver played junior hockey with the Omaha Lancers (USHL), scoring 29 points in 109 regular season games over parts of three seasons.

As Silver prepares to return to the RedHawks for his final NCAA season, he could be a nice piece for the team. While he hasn’t produced eye-popping numbers in the NCAAs, there’s always the chance that Silver could find another gear.
