American superstar Matt Damon appeared to be in good spirits on Saturday as he was spotted enjoying a stroll in Byron Bay, New South Wales, with his wife Luciana and close friend Lauren Phillips.
The 53-year-old Jason Bourne star looked effortlessly chic in an unbuttoned black printed shirt paired with a plain green T-shirt and beige trousers.
The Massachusetts-born actor completed his dapper look with white sneakers and accessorized with sleek aviator sunglasses and a brown baseball cap.
He completed his laid-back look with a salt and pepper, five o’clock style beard.
The actor was all smiles as he chatted with Luciana and Lauren as they strolled down the street.

The couple were joined by their Australian friends, radio star Nova Phillips, who looked stylish in a colourful ensemble, and her businessman fiancé Paul O’Brien.
Damon, who is currently in the country with Casey Affleck to promote their upcoming film The Instigators, looked to be having the time of his life as he popped into a local store to try on and purchase a pair of sunglasses.

The 41-year-old radio host admitted on Nova’s Jase and Lauren show Wednesday that she hasn’t actually seen any of Matt’s movies.
She then revealed how Matt convinced her to watch his 1997 Oscar-winning film, Good Will Hunting, which she starred in and co-wrote with Ben Affleck.
“Lauren is terrible at watching movies,” her co-host Jase Hawkins revealed during an interview with the Hollywood actor.

“I’ve been to Ekka for several years in a row,” Matt admitted. “But I don’t know if I’ll be able to go this year, because I have to go back to the States.”
Matt then explained the festival to Casey Affleck, who knew nothing about the annual event.
“It’s amazing. I have to take him (Affleck) to the Ekka,” Matt said.
The action star added that he is usually the one who rides the “scary” rides while his family prefers to watch from the sidelines.
Damon, who is currently in the country with Casey Affleck to promote their upcoming film The Instigators, looked to be having a blast as he popped into a local store to try on and buy a pair of sunglasses.
“My kids love it because they make me go on all these scary rides and, you know, their mom refuses to go,” Matt said.
“So I get the short end of the stick. They like to watch me get whipped by those things.”
The Ekka, formally known as the Royal Queensland Show, is Queensland’s annual agricultural exhibition and is held at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
Matt is a father to daughters Isabella, 18, Gia, 15, and Stella, 13, with wife Luciana, 48, as well as daughter Alexia, 25, from a previous relationship.
