Allen is a star in the league and coach Bill Monaghan has compared him to former St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt.

Earlier this week, the player suffered an injury that kept him out of a match with the Gold Coast Suns.

‘Oscar Allen has headed to the rooms for treatment on a suspected finger injury,’ reads a post on West Coast Eagles X.
