Rachael Finch shared her hair disaster after using an old curling iron.

In a video shared on Instagram Stories, the fitness influencer explained that her expensive GHF hair styling device broke.

The 36-year-old pulled out a pair of curling irons she had owned for 14 years and attempted to use them to style her locks.

However, she ended up with uneven waves and shared the “mistake” with her fans online.

“I had to use some random curling iron that I had for 14 years and it went wrong,” she said in the clip while shaking out her curls.

This comes after the beauty spoke to FEMAIL about her typical day on a plate.

“Every day is different. I try to change the ingredients I consume to get a good combination of vitamins and minerals that the body needs,” Rachael said.

“When I wake up, I drink a big glass of water, sometimes with a splash of lemon and apple cider vinegar. Shortly after, I have my coffee made with coconut milk,” she explained.

For breakfast, Rachael said: “I love starting my day with a hearty vanilla quinoa porridge – it’s one of my favourites and easy to make.”

When it comes to lunch, “I try to fill my plate with all the colors of the rainbow. I’ve found that a great way to do this is to make macronutrient bowls with everything from bell peppers, sweet potatoes, eggs, nuts, seeds and leafy greens,” the model explained.

Dinner is ‘chicken and coconut curry, made with chicken thighs, vegetables and a coconut milk base. I serve it with rice and make enough to have leftovers.’

As for snacks, she said, “The snack menu on my show is pretty epic. We have cauliflower bites, bliss balls, and an amazing kale, olive, and lemon pesto that I can eat with seed crackers.”

Rachael also gave some insight into her winter workout routine.

“During the winter, I make a conscious effort to change up my workout routine and incorporate foods rich in iron, zinc and vitamin C, to keep my energy levels high and ward off the winter blues,” said the Body by Finch founder.

‘I recently created a free 30-minute Body by Finch HIIT workout, available exclusively through Groupon, that includes some of my favorite winter warm-up hits.

‘Cold weather can keep us bundled up at home and less motivated to exercise, so I always try to incorporate home routines into my winter training schedule, whether it’s a HIIT workout or stretching in the living room to relax and keep my body moving.’
