AFL star Tyson Stengle was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning after being knocked unconscious at a nightclub.
The Geelong Cats player was at Bloom nightclub in Geelong on Sunday after his team beat the Kangaroos on Saturday afternoon, 7 News reported.
Friends reportedly helped him out of the club before he was taken to Geelong Hospital in a serious condition.
Stengle, 25, was released later Sunday.
The Cats said there was a “health incident involving Tyson Stengle over the weekend.”
“The most important thing is that Tyson is fine and attended the club on Monday,” a spokesman said.
‘The Club’s priority is Tyson’s mental health and well-being.’
