Amy Schumer’s show Life & Beth has been cancelled by Hulu.

The 43-year-old Unfrosted star, who recently took the unusual step of reuniting with her mother after years of drama, appeared on the comedy series as the title character before its cancellation after two seasons.

Its final season ended in February, but it failed to make it onto Nielsen’s streaming charts, according to Deadline.

The New York native took the reins of the series as executive producer, writer and director while starring on the show.

It followed Schumer’s character Beth, who, after an “unexpected incident,” “begins to have flashbacks of her teenage self (played by Violet Young) and learns how she became who she is and who she wants to become,” according to IMDb.

The comedy also starred Susannah Flood, Michael Cera, Kevin Cane, Michael Rappaport, Rosebud Baker and LaVar Walker.

Life & Beth was produced by Fifth Season, who also handled international sales for the series.

Kevin Kane, Daniel Powell and Ryan McFaul served as executive producers on the series alongside the Trainwreck star.

Its first season debuted on Hulu in March 2022 and was renewed for a second season after positive reviews from fans at the time.

Its second season premiered on February 16 and all 10 episodes were released at once on the streamer.

Fans were left heartbroken by the show’s cancellation and took to the show’s social media pages to express their devastation.

“It’s a shame because I loved the first season…” wrote one fan in a recent post. Referring to the show’s final episode, one fan said: “This is hands down one of the best episodes of any series I’ve ever seen!!!”
