Southern Hospitality star Joe Bradley and Danielle Olivera, best known for starring in Summer House since 2018, broke up after several months of dating.

While appearing on Tuesday’s episode of Chatting with the Gib podcastThe television personality hinted that their seven-year age difference may have been a factor in their split.

“I just don’t think I’m in a position as a 28-year-old guy who works in a nightclub to be the caliber of man of Danielle Olivera, who is just ahead of me in life in many ways, in terms of maturity and where he is in his career,” Bradley told listeners.

He continued, “I’m in this quaint little town of Charleston, and she’s running laps in the big city like she always has.”

“I want to be with someone like Danielle, I just don’t think I deserve Danielle,” he admitted. “I don’t think at this stage in my life I’m the right man for her, so it was best for us to end things on good terms.”

Despite splitting, Bradley shared some of her “best memories,” including how they fatefully crossed paths at BravoCon in November.

After developing feelings for each other at the fan convention, the former couple visited each other in New York, where Olivera resides.

“I think it was friendly. We both knew it. It was definitely mutual,” she said. “I think we both knew it was time, but we didn’t want to let it go because we have strong feelings for each other. Stinks.’

Still, Bradley says he considers his ex one of his “closest friends.”

“The last thing I want to do is hurt her,” he added. ‘Who knows what will happen later? Maybe [she was] “Right girl at the wrong time, but I adore Danielle and can’t think of anything negative to say.”

He then thought he could “think of 100 negative things to say about” himself.

Last month, she hinted that their relationship was cooling after revealing to him Us weekly that they had stepped on the brakes ‘a little bit’.

“I just want to make sure we’re in the right place before we officially say, ‘I’m your boyfriend, you’re my girlfriend.'” “I don’t want to get hurt,” she told the outlet. “But the most important thing is I don’t want to see her get hurt and I just want to be in the best place possible before we make a tough pitch.”

He mentioned that “there’s a lot going on” and expressed the need to make sure he’s personally in a place where he can “prioritize” Danielle.

The comments were made ahead of his joint appearance with Luann de Lesseps on Watch What Happens Live in January.

The former Real Housewives of New York star, 58, and Bradley, 28, were “all over each other” at The Dream Hotel in New York City, according to Us weekly.

The couple allegedly went to the hotel bar after “flirting” during a pre-taped episode of WWHL that same night.

A source close to Bradley, however, denied the witness’ account, according to the outlet.

During his latest interview, Bradley acknowledged the comments and how people thought he was saying he was ‘holding back’ their relationship to apparently ‘get on with Luann.’

“It was really a bad time. I didn’t know anything about Luann,’ she insisted. “I had started hitting the brakes long before the Us Weekly interview. All of these accusations are coming to light and Danielle is upset. “I didn’t care about these false accusations about me.”

He concluded: ‘I cared more about how it affected Danielle. She’s also had a tough year. Harder than me. Then I thought, ‘This isn’t fair.’ This is not true.’
