A video has captured a man’s terrifying brush with death after a fireworks stunt went horribly wrong and nearly caused him to explode into pieces.
The viral clip shows the anonymous man placing his feet on top of a washing machine loaded with fireworks.
The machine proceeds to explode in an explosion, launching him into the air as shrapnel flies in all directions.
‘MY UNCLE IS CRAZY. HE’S ALIVE. They just gave him a few stitches in his mouth and he broke his ankle,’ his niece revealed on Instagram, where she shared the shocking video.
Miraculously, the uncle survived his reckless act, although not without serious injuries.
A video has captured a man’s terrifying brush with death as he performed a stupid fireworks stunt that went horribly wrong – nearly blowing him to pieces.
‘MY UNCLE IS CRAZY. HE’S ALIVE. They just gave him a few stitches in his mouth and he broke his ankle,’ his niece revealed on Instagram, where she shared the shocking video.
He reportedly needed more than 150 stitches in his mouth alone, in addition to a broken ankle.
Additionally, the man apparently does not have health insurance, according to his niece.
The video was posted three days ago and has since gone viral, circulating on TikTok and X, garnering thousands of comments.
Many wondered why they should contribute to the medical bills resulting from such a reckless act.
One user said: ‘Lmfao started a GoFundMe campaign because the guy doesn’t have insurance. Well he did it voluntarily to be funny. He knew it wasn’t safe. Right next to the house and all that.’
Others were amazed by the cameraman’s steady hand.
One wrote: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a steadier cameraman in such an intense moment. We salute you bro.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up for the injured uncle, but it has sparked controversy.
As of Tuesday, it had raised just $324 of its $15,000 goal.
