An Australian radio host has slammed Taylor Swift fans for buying tickets to multiple shows and bragging about it online.

Cameron ‘Lingy’ Ling, who co-hosts the breakfast show on Geelong’s K Rock 95.5, aired his grievances with boastful Swifties during an eyebrow-raising rant during Monday’s Tom, Lingy & Loggy show.

‘I have an observation from the Taylor Swift concert, and it’s the biggest new spanking in the world. “They are those people who went to more than one Taylor Swift concert,” she began.

‘Now, I’m talking about the person who went to more than one concert and decided to flaunt it and put it everywhere. There was [so many] who were desperate to get a ticket,” the former AFL player continued.

Co-host Lauren ‘Loggy’ Temuskos agreed, adding: “I saw someone who is a family member and [who] Love. But I saw it was twice… and I was gutted. Because she really wanted to go.’

Lingy went on to deliver a harsh message to Australian Swifties who are guilty of bragging about attending more than one show.

But don’t flaunt it! Don’t post it on social media. You know what you are, you are a scourge. If you do that and shove it in other people’s faces, I won’t be a big fan of yours,” she fumed.

It comes after an Australian Taylor Swift fan sparked heated debate on social media with his controversial opinion on Eras Tour tickets.

A Melbourne resident took to X, formally known as Twitter, last week to voice his opinion on the ticketing process for the pop superstar’s concerts, which have been in phenomenal demand across the country.

After tickets for the final release became available just days before their shows, the user proposed a controversial system aimed at fairness.

‘I’m probably going to get so much hate for this. But my opinion is that I think you should only be able to see Taylor Swift once in Australia,” the user wrote, sparking a heated exchange between fans.

‘I’ve seen about 10 people come back tonight after attending last night. “It would give other people who missed out a better opportunity,” he continued.

Swift’s decision to add two extra shows to the Australian leg of her tour did little to calm the frenzy, as more than a million fans bombarded the Ticketek website, vying for a piece of the 450,000-ticket pie.

With many fans empty-handed, seeing some attendees bragging about getting multiple show passes has only added insult to injury.

“I agree… because I tried everything in my power to get tickets and was unsuccessful and I know some people go to all the shows in Melbourne and Sydney, I’m actually devastated I couldn’t go,” replied one Disappointed fan to the user’s question. mail.

Amid the chorus of agreement, some strongly opposed the user’s proposal.

‘No. “I went last night and going to Sydney, if you sleep you lose,” one defiant fan stated.

It comes as Swift prepares to play four sold-out shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium from Friday to Monday, which will be attended by 80,000 people each night.
