The former Love Island star, 27, announced in October that she and her AFL star husband, 30, will build a new home in Perth for their family.

Tayla, who currently resides in Melbourne with Nathan, has now given insight into the big decision during an Instagram Stories Q&A.

A fan asked him: ‘Will you ever come back to WA?’ to which Tayla simply replied: “Yes,” alongside a photo from a luxury building overlooking the Perth cityscape.

Regarding his building plans, another fan asked: “Why are you building a house in WA when Nathan plays for Richmond?”

Late last year, Tayla announced that she and Nathan had started work on a new home in Perth for their growing family.

Tayla and Nathan, who tied the knot in October 2022, welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Samara, in August.

She returned to work five months after welcoming the little one and spoke openly about the challenges of being a working mother.

“A lot of friends are stepping in, it’s obviously a difficult time without family.” [being in Melbourne]but we have a very good support network here to help,” he said Nine entertainment at the Australian Open last month.

She also took to Instagram to speak candidly about having her first child along with a smiling selfie.

‘Just to make it real. 10/10 I wouldn’t recommend having a baby and trying to work without a family to help you,” she wrote alongside the photo.
