Princess Anne suffered “minor injuries and concussion” after an incident at the Gatcombe Park estate last night and remains in hospital, it was announced today.
Buckingham Palace said: “The Princess Royal has suffered minor injuries and a concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday afternoon.
‘His Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and rapid recovery.
“The King has been kept closely informed and joins the entire Royal Family in sending their warmest love and good wishes to the Princess for a speedy recovery.”
