Staying healthy! The five things to do to reduce the risk of cancer

  • Stay away from alcohol
  • Don’t eat red meat or cold meats.
  • Avoid tobacco
  • Use sunscreen
  • Exercise

Dr. Waqqas captioned the clip: “Five things I recommend to prevent cancer.”

And it begins: ‘Here are five things I would never do as an oncologist. Number one, smoking tobacco.

“The use of any tobacco product and vaping are carcinogenic,” he added. Carcinogen means that something has the potential to cause cancer.

He added: “It causes a harder buildup in the lungs, which causes damage to lung tissues and can also lead to cancer.”

The second thing the doctor recommended you avoid was alcohol.

“At any level, even a glass of red wine with dinner is carcinogenic,” he said.

Dr. Waqqas also suggested not consuming red meat or deli meats because the act of “salting, curing and smoking them” puts you at greater risk of contracting the disease.

Her fourth tip was to always use sunscreen.
