Desperate search for two young sisters who went missing from a Muswellbrook home

An urgent search is underway for two teenagers who went missing from a home in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales.

Monique Rowland, 12, and Emily Rowland, 13, were last seen at the property on Skelltar Stock Route in Muswellbrook on Sunday.

When they could not locate the couple, police were notified and have since launched an investigation into their whereabouts.

Officers and the girls’ family are concerned for their well-being due to their young age.

Monique is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Emily is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 140cm tall, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.
