A driver was left furious after claiming a motorist crashed into the back of his car because he was distracted by a woman running on the side of the road.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Parramatta Road and Good Street in Granville, western Sydney, on May 23.
Dashcam footage shared on Facebook showed the driver of the white Volkswagen driving steadily behind another car.
“I was rear-ended by a guy who was distracted by someone on the side of the road,” the caption read.
The video showed the car rear-ending the vehicle in front of it while a female runner was running on a trail.

The runner was seen in the video looking back as she continued running.
The bewildered driver put the cigarette in his mouth before telling the other driver to pull his car to the side of the road.
Social media users were stunned by the accident and many of them surprised by the driver’s indifference.
“Why are all these idiots who rear-end cars for no apparent reason always so practical?” one wrote.
“What’s the complete lack of reaction from the rear-end guy? He just keeps sucking on his cigarette,” a second person commented.
A third chimed in: ‘Right behind! The funny thing is that the idiot who hit the car in the rear sat there waiting for the lights to change.
A fourth added: ‘We are not concerned at all about the owner of the distribution centre. I sat there, smoking. What the hell?’
