Charlotte Tilbury has made history by becoming the first beauty brand to sponsor a Formula 1 car.
The company has been officially announced as an official partner of F1 Academy 2024, a project created to develop and prepare drivers for higher levels of competition.
The collaboration, which also marks the female-founded brand’s first global sports sponsorship, featured teaser images showing the bodywork, which is adorned with Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic Hot Lips illustration and the empowering mantra ‘Makeup Your Destiny’.
The livery, helmet and racing suit are also in the brand’s signature night crimson and rose gold color palette.

Charlotte Tilbury’s car will be driven by Lola Lovinfosse, 18, from France and competing since 2018.
But it is hoped the sponsorship will raise awareness of the F1 Academy’s 15 female drivers, who are aged between 16 and 25, as well as bringing the sport to a wider audience.
Currently, 40 percent of F1 fans are women, contributing to a total audience of more than 1.5 billion viewers in the 2022 season.

The F1 Academy, launched in 2023, is a category designed to give drivers access to more track time, racing and testing, as well as support with technical, physical and mental preparations.
It aims to provide young talent in the junior categories with access to the fundamental level of experience necessary to progress to Formula 3 and join the Path to F1.
