Outnumbered has announced that the beloved BBC drama will return with a special episode this Christmas, 10 years after the series ended.
The show’s child stars previously drove fans wild when they reunited nine years after the hit show ended in October, sparking rumors of a reunion.
And now it’s been confirmed that the Brockmans are back for a Christmas special in which viewers will find out what happened to the family over the last decade.
During this time, it was revealed that one of Brockman’s children welcomed his own son in a brief synopsis of the next episode.
Chaos will continue in the small home of Pete and Sue Brockman, as they deal with raising children who are now adults, with their own lives to lead.
Stars from the original series return for the special, including Hugh Dennis as father Pete, Claire Skinner as mother Sue, Tyger Drew-Honey as eldest son Jake, Daniel Roche as middle son Ben, and Ramona Marquez as daughter, Karen.

In a time of adversity, Sue and Pete gather all their children (including a grandson) to try to celebrate a traditional family Christmas. But fate, neighbors, hyenas and bus replacement services stand in their way.
Hugh Dennis says: “I can’t wait for the Brockmans to get back together.” Pete and Sue have downsized, the kids aren’t kids anymore, but I’m sure family life will remain as chaotic as ever.
Claire Skinner says: “I’m really looking forward to reuniting with my TV family. Working on this wonderful BBC comedy doesn’t feel like work and is one of the greatest joys for us all.”
Jon Petrie, head of BBC comedy, says: “Outnumbered is one of the crown jewels of British comedy. We’re so grateful to Guy, Andy, Hattrick and the cast for dusting it off and putting it back on display.”

Ramona, 23, took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes snaps from a secret project with older on-screen brothers Tyger, 28, and Daniel, 24.
The post sparked questions from fans asking if a new series could be on the way, while Tyger’s Instagram provided more clues.

However, when a fan asked if Outnumbered would be back for good, Tyger responded, “I don’t think so, man.”
The trio played the characters from 2007 to 2014, while the show detailed their parents, played by Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner, who raised their children in south London.
Outnumbered was watched by 9.4 million viewers at its peak and ran for five series with a one-off Christmas special in 2016.
The show focused on a middle-class family living in London, as teacher Pete (Hugh) and his personal assistant Sue (Claire) struggled to balance their careers with that of their rebellious children.
In 2018, the on-screen parents shocked fans when they revealed they had been dating for over a year following the breakdown of their marriages.
Opening up about their romance with The Mail On Sunday, the couple opened up about their real-life happiness after it emerged they have been in a relationship since 2017.
Comedian Hugh confirmed the romance and said he was “very happy” after finding love with Clockwork Mice star Claire.
“I’m very, very happy, we are very happy. It’s nice and yes, it’s so nice,” he said at the time.
