He is one of the Seven Network’s biggest new stars, after rising to fame as a TV veteran.
But Dr Chris Brown has revealed how he once found himself in the middle of a very human medical emergency during a plane journey between Sydney and Brisbane.
The drama occurred mid-flight when Chris, 45, was called to help a pregnant passenger who was in deep distress.
“They did the thing (called) a doctor and I couldn’t resist,” he said during an appearance on it. Hit Network’s Carrie and Tom Show On Wednesday.
“I thought, ‘I’m happy to at least have a chat and maybe my dealings with patients can help.’ [her] through”.’

However, it turned out that the very pregnant woman panicked, so Chris sprang into action.
“I was very close to giving birth and I was having blood pressure problems,” she told hosts Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little.
“She was sweating, I talked to her and diagnosed the problem.”

Chris added that he was able to help ease the woman’s distress and make her feel comfortable.
“She was a little dehydrated. So we just got her to elevate her legs a little bit, got her to calm down, put her seat back, just relaxed her. And then we brought it in for landing.
It comes after the fan favorite recently opened up about his hopes of starting a family one day.
He said that after dedicating the last ten years to his career, he still wants to be a father.
Dr Chris said he gave comfort to the very pregnant woman who was in deep distress.
‘I still feel like it’s a priority. Do I wish I had done something about it in the last five years? Probably,” she said in an interview with Stellar earlier this month.
Chris, who will soon be seen in Seven’s new renewal show Dream Home, added that he didn’t want to “force things” and end up in a “rushed” situation.
“I feel like it’s going to happen when it happens,” the former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here host continued.
It comes after Chris left Channel 10 and signed a two-year deal with Seven worth more than $1 million a year.
