He was eventually arrested after getting off the plane in May 2022.
The We Paid hitmaker was eventually sentenced to a year in prison.
42 Dugg apparently hated his experience in prison, as he complained numerous times on social media about the conditions, including the lack of adequate hot water, a microwave, and other amenities.
He even claimed that he was illegally detained after his court date and accused the US Marshals of even playing mind games with him.
Yo Gotti even did everything he could to get the rapper out, offering $2 million to any lawyer who could shorten the sentence. However, it remains unclear whether it actually worked.
TMZ reported on Tuesday that after the welcome home, Dugg quickly got food from those close to him before heading straight to the studio.
