SANTA MONICA, California (AP) – "Roma" is the best winner of the Critics & Choice Awards, winner of the best photo, foreign language film and a few individual awards for director Alfonso Cuaron.

The 24th annual ceremony held on Sunday Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California, also split the top actress prize between Glenn Close for "The Wife" and Lady Gaga for "A Star Is Born." The split victory comes a week after Close won the Golden Globe Award for best actress in a film drama, a prize that many expected Lady Gaga to win.

"The Americans" and "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" connected for top TV winners with three each.

"Black Panther" and "Vice" each won three prizes, including best actor for Christian Bale for his portrait of former vice president Dick Cheney.
