& # 39; Give that lady a burger & # 39 ;: Vile trolls body shame model and mother of three after she appears in a chocolate advertisement
- The new campaign by Jessica Gerrity and Whittaker & # 39; s chocolates was hit by trolls
- Trolls believe that Mrs. Gerrity could do with a good feed & # 39; and does not fit in the promo
- Other comments are supportive and say that chocolate lovers can be of any size
- Whittaker defended their ambassador as a long-standing chocolate lover
A model from New Zealand is embarrassed by despicable trolls after appearing in an advertisement for chocolate.
Jessica Gerrity is a Kiwi expat, mother of three and a kimono model who has been living in Japan for more than 15 years.
Mrs. Gerrity became the face of New Zealand in Japan after a weekly TV show & # 39; Sekai Kurabetemitara & # 39 ;, comparing Japanese culture with other countries around the world.
She was recently chosen as ambassador for New Zealand chocolate brand Whittaker & # 39; s to promote two new limited-run flavors for the Rugby World Cup in Japan on Friday.

Whittaker has released a promotion video with Mrs. Gerrity and the new flavors on Saturday, but instead of focusing on chocolate, trolls focused on the model.
Embarrassed commentators smothered Whittaker & # 39; s for choosing a slim model, saying they could & # 39; do with a good feed. & # 39;
& # 39; Give that lady a hamburger … and maybe some chocolate, & # 39; is a comment.
& # 39; She is obviously training a lot due to the appearance of her muscle tone. Absolutely not a chocolate lover, & read another post.

& # 39; She needs to eat more sushi, & # 39; another commentator said.
Another said: & Whittaker & # 39; s sorry but I find it hard to believe that you found this a suitable ambassador choice for your brand & # 39 ;.
Mail trolls have been matched by ad supporters and claim that anyone of any size can be a chocolate lover.
& # 39; Retract your labia & # 39 ;, says a comment. & # 39; She looks great and she is happy. Chocolate lover does not mean that she has to crack it and have a certain weight. & # 39;
& # 39; If this woman was overweight, no one would say anything, & # 39; reads another message.
"Some people are just very slim and believe it or not, some people can enjoy chocolate without looking like they've eaten the entire plant."
Whittaker & # 39; s later issued a statement in defense of their decision to have Mrs. Gerrity as their ambassador.
"Hello chocolate lovers, we see some reactions coming through that are not in the spirit of sharing our love for delicious chocolate," said Whittaker.
& # 39; Chocolate lovers come in all shapes and sizes. We are very happy to work with Jess, a real Kiwi who lives in Tokyo. She is a mother of 3, a kimono model, an All Blacks supporter – and a long-standing Whittaker & # 39; s Chocolate Lover.
& # 39; Jess was the perfect person to take Whittaker & # 39; s and our delicious Home or Away blocks to the streets of Japan. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. & # 39;
The flavors in a limited edition follow the home shirts of the All Blacks from New Zealand for the World Cup.
The & # 39; home & # 39; taste is flat white coffee chocolate, and the & # 39; gone & # 39; taste is Japanese matcha and caramelized pistachio nuts in white chocolate.
