2024 Paris Olympics: How to watch swimming, full events schedule and more

It’s almost time for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where Team USA aims to make a splash in the swimming events. The water at La Defense Arena will be star-studded, with Caeleb Dressel, Bobby Finke, Chase Kalisz and Ryan Murphy competing for the U.S. in the men’s bracket. On the women’s side, we’ve got Katie Ledecky, Lilly King, Regan Smith, Simone Manuel and the Walsh sisters. Are you ready to watch Olympic swimming? Sunday, July 28

Series: M 400m medley, W 100m breaststroke and more: 5 – 7 am

Finals: Men’s 400m medley, women’s 100m butterfly, men’s 100m breaststroke: 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Monday, July 29

Series: W 400m medley, W 100m backstroke, M 800m freestyle: 5 – 7 am

Finals: W 400m medley, M 100m backstroke and more: 2:30 – 4:30 pm

Tuesday, July 30th

Series: M&W 100m freestyle, W 1500m freestyle and more: 5 – 7:45 am

Finals: W 100m backstroke, M 800m freestyle and more: 2:30 – 4:30 pm

Wednesday, July 31st

Series: W 200m Breaststroke, M 200m Backstroke, W 200m Butterfly: 5 – 6:30 am

In addition to pool swimming, there are many other categories of Olympic swimming that take place in or around the pool at the Paris Games.

Following the opening parade on the river, two days of men’s and women’s open water swimming events will be held on 8 and 9 August. In addition, both the triathlon and marathon swimming events will also be held on the River Seine.
