With the 2024 NFL season underway, several notable personalities will officially hold the title of NFL WAG.
After realizing their dreams of playing in the NFL during April’s draft, the rookies will take the field to cement their entry into the brotherhood of professional athletes. At the same time, their wives and girlfriends will join an elite brotherhood that includes some of the brightest names in the world.
With influential women like Taylor Swift and Simone Biles at the top, several NFL WAGs have made a name for themselves beyond their league affiliation.
Brittany Mahomes, Olivia Culpo, Kristin Juszczyk and Kylie Kelce, who recently graduated from WAG status after husband Jason Kelce retired, have all become fan favorites through their work and personalities.
As the pool continues to expand, DailyMail.com takes a look at some of the NFL WAGs from the class of 2024.
1. Alina Thyregod, Chicago Bears

The couple made their first public appearance at the NFL Draft in April.
Caleb Williams had a special way to start his relationship with Alina Thyregod: they made their first public appearance when he was drafted first overall by the Chicago Bears.
While the two have tried to keep their relationship under wraps, Thyregod posted a TikTok in January seemingly confirming their romance. In the video, Williams jumped on his back as Thyregod tried to keep his balance while they laughed.
The length of their relationship is unclear, as they remained secretive for much of it, save for several sneaky Instagram posts. However, before the draft, Williams wrote on social media: “Wait until you see my draft day outfit and my bridesmaid dress. 1 of 1.”
While Thyregod’s personal life isn’t as public as some, you can expect to see her on the sidelines while Williams, the former Bruin, plays with the Bears.
2. Katya Kuropas, Minnesota Vikings
JJ McCarthy and his girlfriend Katya Kuropas have been dating for over five years.
Shortly after Michigan won the national title in January, McCarthy and Kuropas became engaged.
After winning a national championship with Michigan, JJ McCarthy was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the 10th overall pick.
Joining him will be his high school sweetheart, Katya Kuropas, whom he has been dating for more than five years. Kuropas and McCarthy both attended Nazareth Academy in Hillsdale, Illinois, before the former joined her partner and headed to Ann Arbor for college.
In January, their relationship took another step when McCarthy got down on one knee and the couple became engaged. A regular at Wolverines games during McCarthy’s college career, fans can expect Kurpoas to withstand Minnesota’s cold temperatures.
3. Izzy Smoke Nix, Denver Broncos
Bo Nix’s wife, Izzy Smoke Nix, was a cheerleader at Auburn, where she played for three years.
In a draft class stacked with quarterback talent, the Denver Broncos secured Oregon standout Bo Nix with the 12th pick. While the former couple is on track to tie the knot, Bo and his wife, Izzy Smoke Nix, exchanged vows on July 2, 2022.
The couple met during Bo’s three-year stint at Auburn before he left for the Pacific Northwest to join the Ducks. Bo and Izzy, a cheerleader for the Tigers’ football team, began dating during her now-husband’s sophomore year.
While Izzy remained in Alabama after Bo opted to take his talents elsewhere, the happily married couple now get to cheer on the same team in the mile-high state.
4. Ann Michael Hudson, New England Patriots

Third overall pick Drake Maye of North Carolina is headed to a rebuilding franchise in New England after Bill Belichick.
Before Maye became a star for the Tar Heels and the third overall pick, he began dating his high school sweetheart, Ann Michael Hudson.
Ann’s love of football is no surprise: She is the daughter of former Wofford football player Kevin Hudson and his wife, Alicia. After attending William A. Hough High School together for a year, Hudson and Maye decided to head to Chapel Hill, where she is a business school student with a double major in entrepreneurship and conflict management.
Maye made their relationship Instagram official in 2020 with a sweet New Year’s Eve post in which she wrote, “Ringing in ’20 with a 10.”
5. Cameron Rose Newell, Las Vegas Raiders
Brock Bowers’ girlfriend, Cameron Rose Newell, is an active member of Tennessee’s Greek life.
Bowers and Newell began dating in 2021 despite attending different soccer-mad schools.
With the 13th pick in the draft, the Las Vegas Raiders selected tight end Brock Bowers from Georgia.
As the former Bulldog heads to Sin City, his girlfriend, Cameron Rose Newell, will join him in front of the bright lights of Las Vegas.
Bowers began dating the University of Tennessee student in May 2021. Originally from Napa, California, Newell is an active member of UT’s Greek life as the assistant director of recruitment operations for the Kappa Delta sorority.
In addition to her involvement in the brotherhood, she also worked as an administrative assistant for the family business, Newell’s Property Management.
6. Makiah Shipp, Los Angeles Rams

Shipp, pictured with her boyfriend, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public policy analysis at Michigan.
Another member of the national championship Michigan Wolverines, Blake Corum fell to the third round before being selected by the Los Angeles Rams at No. 83 overall.
As the running back looks to prove NFL doubters wrong, his girlfriend, Makiah Shipp, has been fighting the odds in her own impressive way.
Shipp landed a research internship at UM’s College of Education in 2019, which paved the way for her fellowship at Michigan. Shipp’s efforts led her to be featured on “Black Girl Speak” as she works to amplify marginalized voices.
This year, she is on track to complete a bachelor’s degree in public policy analysis, making Shipp the first college graduate in her family.
Like many NFL couples, Shipp and Corum have kept their romance largely under wraps, with only rare glimpses of each other appearing on their respective social media accounts.
7. Victoria Moraga, San Francisco 49ers
Ricky Pearsall’s girlfriend, Victoria Moraga, was a dancer at the University of Florida.
Pearsall is expected to make a full recovery after being shot in San Francisco on Sept. 1.
Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was selected by Super Bowl contenders San Francisco 49ers with the second-to-last pick of the first round in April.
Although Pearsall was shot in the chest during a shootout on Sept. 1, he was released from the hospital the next day and returned to the team facility on Monday.
As he prepares to make his NFL debut after a rather scary incident, Pearsall will have his girlfriend, Victoria Moraga, cheering him on. The couple met in the Sunshine State while both were representing the Gators.
While Pearsall earned his spot in the NFL on the gridiron, Moraga was part of “The Dazzlers,” Florida’s official dance team. After graduating, Moraga worked as a social media coordinator at Modern International Realty.
