The drought was the worst of it… but football season is (not) officially back with the 2024 NFL preseason. Tonight, the season kicks off with a doubleheader: the Carolina Panthers visit the New England Patriots and the Detroit Lions take on the New York Giants. The Lions vs Giants game starts at 7 p.m. ET, airs locally on FOX5 NY and the Lions Television Network and free streaming on mobile devices with the Detroit Lions mobile app or the Giants mobile app.

The 2024 NFL preseason will kick off with a doubleheader tonight. The Panthers and Patriots and the Lions and Giants will play tonight at 7 p.m. ET.

The Lions and Giants will face off in the preseason opener this Thursday, August 8. Unfortunately, the game will not be broadcast on NFL Network or live on NFL+.
