Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz appeared on morning news shows Wednesday to do damage control after President Joe Biden called Donald Trump supporters “trash.”

But the Democratic vice presidential candidate insisted that Biden’s botched response to the insulting comments does not undermine the party’s message of unity.

‘You compared Trump supporters to Nazis. Biden called them “trash.” Hillary called them “deplorables.” Doesn’t that undermine their false message of “unity”? CBS Mornings host Tony Dokoupil asked Walz.

The governor responded: “No, of course not.”

The whole debacle broke out when a comedian at Trump’s Mardison Square Garden on Sunday called Puerto Rico a “floating pile of garbage,” drawing the ire of the Hispanic community as a whole.

But then Biden gave Republicans a big hand on the matter when he said Tuesday that “the only trash I see floating around are (Trump) supporters.”

Poll aggregator Nate Silver warned that Joe Biden is “one of the biggest impediments to Kamala Harris’ victory” after the president referred to Donald Trump’s supporters as “trash.”

Silver, founder of the poll analysis site FiveThirtyEight, suggested that Biden will be largely responsible if the Democrat does not win the White House next week.

He said Harris, 60, has done a “pretty good job” rallying support ahead of what could be one of the closest races in history, even though “Biden did everything he could to ruin it.”

Keul, 53, is coming forward now because he discovered all the documentation for his trip from his home in Zurich, Switzerland, stored in a box when he was preparing to move.

There has yet to be an official response from Kamala Harris’ campaign following Joe Biden’s “trash” gaffe.

When the president appeared to call Donald Trump’s supporters “trash” on Tuesday night, it overshadowed his vice president’s campaign wrap-up event in Washington, DC.

The resulting furor torpedoed what Harris’ campaign hoped would be widespread media coverage of her closing argument against Trump.

While the White House has tried to downplay Biden’s comment, the Harris campaign has remained silent.

Around 475 damaged ballots were recovered from a ballot box that was burned early Monday in Vancouver, Washington, as police condemned the act as a “direct attack on American democracy.”

Clark County Auditor Greg Kimsey said workers on Wednesday will begin searching for voter information among damaged ballots so they can contact them and obtain a new ballot.

He said officials believe that even if they are damaged, workers will be able to extract voter information from the ballots.

Donald Trump said President Joe Biden calling his supporters “trash” is worse than Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorable comments” in 2016.

Trump spoke to thousands of fans gathered in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday night with just seven days until the election.

The 81-year-old commander in chief was responding to a comedian at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday by comparing Puerto Rico to a “floating island of garbage.”

Biden said on a campaign Zoom Tuesday night: “The only trash I see floating around is his (Trump) supporters.”

It immediately sparked a backlash from MAGA fans, including Trump himself, who addressed the issue in the middle of his rally.

‘Wow, that’s what (Biden) says… rubbish. I think it’s worse (than deplorable),’ he responded.

It came as Harris hoped to capture the nation’s full attention with a carefully planned rally outside the White House for 75,000 Democrats a week before Election Day. Harris used Tuesday night’s event to make her closing argument, declaring that she would be a unifying president “for all Americans.”

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are virtually tied in Michigan, according to a new poll released just six days before the 2024 presidential election.

A Suffolk/USA Today poll puts Trump with a slim lead of 0.4 percentage points over Vice President Kamala Harris: 47.4 percent to 47 percent.

Michigan is one of seven swing states vital to a victory on November 5. The others are Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

The results between the candidates are within the Michigan poll’s 4.4 percentage point margin of error.

Of the 500 Michiganders surveyed in the latest study, 1.4 percent still say they will vote for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the same percentage say they will vote for Green Oarty candidate Jill Stein.

Senator Tim Scott told DailyMail.com that Democrats have lied to black voters for years.

And that’s why enthusiasm for Donald Trump among them has never been greater, he says.

With less than a week until Election Day, the South Carolina Republican has been traveling around the country attending events with black voters in swing states on behalf of the former president and Republican Senate candidates.

During his travels he frequently hears the frustration of these men who express that they feel deceived by the Democrats.

“What I often hear is ‘Democrats have lied to us,'” Scott told DailyMail.com.
