Driver flees after killing a 20-year-old man when he crashed into a Toyota Hilux before fleeing the crime scene and setting his car on fire

A 20-year-old man has been killed in a horror crash as police hunt for the driver who fled the scene before setting his car on fire.
The incident took place in Morphett Vale in the south of town at about 9:50 p.m. Wednesday when a silver Ford sedan collided with a Toyota Hilux.
The passenger of the Hilux, from Sellicks Beach, died at the scene.
The driver of the Ford did not stop and his burned car was later found in a trench off the Southern Expressway near Reynella.

The impact left the driver of the Toyota, a 22-year-old man from Morphett Vale, with non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Flinders Medical Center for treatment.
Police are asking anyone who saw the silver Ford sedan or white Toyota Hilux driving on Flaxmill Road before the accident to come forward.
Flaxmill Road was closed to all traffic for approximately eight hours while the accident site was investigated.
It has since reopened.
The death toll on South Australian roads this year is now 58, compared to 52 around this time last year.
