The office was always staffed during the Covid-19 closures so the office floor was never neglected.
The “absolutely huge” plant loops several times around the 50-foot-long by 25-foot-wide open-plan office and then across the roof.
Although Ms. Brannan suspects that if the plant continues to grow, they will have to “bring machetes to the office” to cut the growth, she says the staff love the greenery.
She said: “It changes daily. Sometimes it’s a little scary to walk in and see it change again.
“It is very low maintenance, it is fed and watered weekly.
“Most of the time it takes is taking the time to set the new shoots.
“During the lockdown, the office was open the entire time, in accordance with the guidelines.
“It was still taken care of and the air in the office was probably purified for it.
“The staff love it. If he was gone, we would all notice and we would have to get another one.”
