Slaton’s husband, Caleb Willingham, died June 30 at the age of 40, just months after marrying Tammy.
His funeral took place on July 30 in Kentucky and cameras were rolling to capture the private ceremony for 1,000 pounds. Sisters, according to The sun.
Now, Slaton has reportedly slammed the producers for stirring the pot and making the event “depressing,” an insider alleged.
The insider claims that Tammy said: “The funeral filming was ‘completely unnatural’ and elements were added to make it look sad when it really wasn’t that sad.

Additionally, the reality star reportedly said, “People were having fun, but (TLC producers) made it depressing.”
Due to the way the funeral was allegedly filmed, Tammy is also worried that rumors will spread her grief has caused her to break her diet.
However, the source insisted that was not the case and she remained committed to her diet.
The Sun obtained photos from the funeral, which included footage of Tammy crying at the service.
Tammy and Caleb met in 2022 at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio.
They were married at the rehabilitation center with around 30 friends and family members invited to the small ceremony presided over by their home nurse and friend, Billy.
Caleb died of unknown causes.
Tammy paid tribute to her husband on Instagram, saying, “RIP sweet angel you will be forever missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me true love and happiness.”

Caleb, nicknamed “Double K”, starred on the weight loss show alongside his wife as they battled their chronic obesity.
The two tied the knot just weeks after they met, Tammy telling People at the time: “Our wedding day was perfect, there was so much love in the room. I literally married my best friend.
However, The sun reported in May that the two were set to divorce because Caleb “refused to stick to his diet.”
The couple’s relationship status had been the subject of speculation for months, with fans noticing that Tammy had removed Caleb’s name from some of her social media handles.
As rumors swirled around a potential split, an insider told The Sun that Tammy was “ready to file for divorce” after they argued over their diet.

“They broke up because Caleb didn’t follow his diet in rehab,” they claimed at the time. “He gained 30 pounds and didn’t follow his schedule.”
They claimed that Caleb tried to fix their marriage while they were separated, but his efforts were unsuccessful and Slaton was reportedly close to finalizing the divorce.
According to TikTok star Sarah Fraser, his failed marriage left him distraught, when he reportedly posted on Facebook: “We’re only married on paper right now.” His decision not mine.
“I’m hurt, angry, confused and alone even with others around,” he added.

She underwent bariatric surgery last year and lost over 300 pounds, but Caleb’s struggles with his weight apparently kept them apart.
The insider who revealed their divorce said it was Caleb who actually asked for the breakup, before trying to “backtrack” and win her back.
However, they said their decision to split was met with joy by members of Slaton’s family.
“Tammy’s sisters, Amy and Amanda, were already encouraging her to move on,” they said. “She wants someone who can be there for her and her health keeps declining.
“She should be taking care of him once he’s out of rehab, and she’s the one taking care of a whole other person when she can barely take care of herself, so the relationship is useless.”
The TLC 1000-lb show Sisters first aired on January 1, 2020.
